SUMMER TRAINING DAY

Ippon Judo London's Summer Training Day was a great success. After five hours of new techniques, randori and judo games, there will be many tired judoka tonight.
We were very fortunate to have GB athlete Ryan Burt with us to demonstrate some of his favourite ne waza skills, including the famous Ungvari turnover.
Ippon Judo LONDON would like to thank everyone who attended including our guest judoka from Ealing Judo Club, Shodan Club, The Ray Stevens Academy and Tora Kai School of Judo. We hope you all enjoyed the Summer Training Day as much as we did.

GYMNASTICS FOR MARTIAL ARTS BY JESSICA GORDON BROWN

On Friday 5th July, Ippon Judo London benefited from a 'Gymnastics for Martial Arts' seminar with Jessica Gordon Brown. It was an excellent and engaging session. The students were shown how to use the body's agility and flexibility in a judo contest and a quick handstand masterclass was even squeezed in at the end!

NEKODA SMYTHE DAVIS MASTERCLASS

On Saturday the 16th February, Ippon Judo LONDON were proud to host its first masterclass with Olympian Nekoda Smythe Davis. We had a fantastic afternoon of judo consisting of fun, laughter and world-class coaching from this exceptional and inspirational player. Both sessions consisted of a few trademark techniques and shown in the 2018 World Championships.
