Our HUBS

Welcome to the Ippon Judo London Community Hubs. Based in Surbiton and Hampton, our Hubs deliver more than 10 classes each week for judoka of all ages and abilities, from children aged 6 and above through to adults. Our programmes follow the official British Judo grading syllabus, providing a structured and progressive pathway for students of every grade. For those with competitive aspirations, we offer guidance and support for participation in British Judo events, helping athletes develop their skills and achieve success at local, regional and national levels.

U9 & U12 Beginners

Our children's classes are designed to develop strong physical foundations through the ABCS of movement: agility, balance, coordination, and speed. In addition, learning essential judo skills and techniques, young judoka gain confidence and embrace the core values of judo in a fun and supportive environment.

U18 Teens

Our popular teenage programme runs four times each week, including a dedicated Girls Only class. These sessions help young people develop physical skills, confidence, resilience, and friendships while progressing through the British Judo grading syllabus. Challenging, engaging and enjoyable, they provide an excellent environment for judoka under 18 to grow both on and off the mat.

Seniors

Our mixed senior sessions take place on Monday and Friday evenings and welcome everyone from complete beginners through to Dan grades. Training incorporates both the Kyu and Dan grade syllabi, providing a structured pathway for ongoing development. Whether your goal is to improve fitness, refine technical skills, achieve grading success, or compete, our sessions offer a supportive and challenging environment for judoka of all levels.
