WAYS TO WINWhen you reach senior level judo, there are four ways to get a score in judo: throwing, hold-downs, armlocks and strangles.

THE SCORESThe ultimate score is an 'ippon'. This score would end a contest. Two 'wazaris' would also end the contest. A 'yuko' is the smallest score.
